Longtime Issaquah Chiropractors Celebrate by Taking 400 Friends,  Neighbors and Family to the Ballpark

Klahanie Chiropractic Marks First Decade with Issaquah Community Appreciation Day at Safeco Field

ISSAQUAH -- Dr. Ken Lichtenwalter and Dr. Ben Britton will host 300 local patients, business owners, friends and family members on Tuesday evening, August 11th at Safeco Field to celebrate Klahanie Chiropractic’s 10th anniversary and the opening of their new clinic at Snoqualmie Ridge. An additional 100 young patients and their families from Children’s Hospital, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the American Cancer Society will also be found in the crowd.

“This night of major league baseball offers an opportunity to have fun and reach out to those who have supported Klahanie Chiropractic for the past 10 years as well as those who may be dealing with serious medical conditions on a day-to-day basis”, says Dr. Ken Lichtenwalter, CEO of Your Neighborhood Healthcare Center, PLLC; owner of Klahanie and co owner of Snoqualmie Ridge Chiropractic. “This is appreciation in the truest sense of the word,” Dr. Lichtenwalter added.

On the evening of the game, Dr. Lichtenwalter, a died-in-the-wool Mariner’s fan, is scheduled to pitch the opening ball.

Representing the home team, a cheerleading section of students and recent graduates of Issaquah and Skyline High School including Tania and James Lichtenwalter will be in the stands.  In addition, a busload of residents and staff from Bellewood Retirement Community along with Dr. Lichtenwalter’s mother, Ila, will proudly attend.

“It’s going to be quite an event, seeing my boy on the Safeco Field pitcher’s mound,” said Mrs. Lichtenwalter. “I’ve always thought Ken was big league.”
